Certified Teacher, Theatrical Firearms Instructor
Kevin is a SAG-AFTRA stuntman, Certified Teacher and Theatrical Firearms Instructor with the SAFD, Margolis Method Instructor Level II, Certified Teacher with the National Michael Chekhov Association, and Assistant Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education. He is an award-winning fight choreographer (SDC Affiliate), and runs a prop weapons rental business providing prop firearms, swords, and more for both stage and screen. He's published The Theatrical Firearms Handbook (2014) and The Screen Combat Handbook (2020), a chapter in Physical Dramaturgy (2018), and several articles for The Fight Master and other journals.
Kevin has been providing his services as fight coordinator, actor, combatant, gun wrangler, and armorer with his company Fight Designer, LLC for over 20 years, on both coasts and in between. He has previously served as Assistant Professor of Movement, Acting, and Stage Combat at Case Western Reserve University, Assistant Professor of Acting, Movement, & Stage Combat at the University of Wyoming, and Adjunct instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Christopher Newport University, and the College of William & Mary.
