Claire Yearman is a SAFD Certified Teacher, the Great Lakes Regional Representative, an EMC actor, director, fight choreographer, and adjunct theatre professor. Claire is an adjunct professor at Depaul University where she teaches stage combat. She also teaches at SAFD regional workshops and Chicago area theatre companies and colleges/universities. She has been an active member of the SAFD since 2003. In 2011 she was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson award for her fight choreography for Red Tape Theatre's For the Love of the Nightingale. Claire has a MFA in acting from Western Illinois University. She is currently rehearsing Moon Over Buffalo at Wheaton Drama and Dracula at BrightSide Theatre. Some theatres she's worked for include: Oak Park Festival Theatre, Williams Street Repertory, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Chicago Dramatists, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Oil Lamp Theatre, Wheaton Drama, Village Theatre Guild, Interrobang Theatre Project, and Aston Rep Theatre Company.
