I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana where I was exposed to stage combat in 2006. In the year of 2007, I participated in a fencing class at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. This ultimately led to my love for blade work. I began my formal training in 2008 at the University of the Arts, and have worked as an apprentice to Fight Master Ian Rose at Temple University from 2012-2013. I have received a Recommended Proficiency in Spear, Sword & Shield, Unarmed, Knife, Rapier & Dagger, Single Sword and Broadsword; I also have a Basic Proficiency Small Sword. Cuba continues training at whatever workshop she can bring her beautiful daughters along to. Back in 2011, Cuba also received the Fighter's Award for Excellence in her adjudicatgion.

Currently, I am based in New Orleans, and I am teaching Talented Theatre at Destrehan High School in Destrehan, LA. I'm also an active Fight Choreographer in the area with local theatre companies as well as universities. I am passionate about working with young artists and bringing up the nex gen of actors to understand the importance of safety. I aspire to one day attend the TCW and receive my CT certification.
