Carlo Aceytuno has earned the Advanced Actor Combatant rank in the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), passed with recommendation all 8 of 8 weapons disciplines, and is recognized as proficient in Theatrical Firearms Safety.

Originally from Southern California, Carlo has trained in both stage combat and Shotokan Karate for over 20 years each. In California, he was a principle member and Secretary of the Los Angeles Fight Academy and now, in Texas, he was Co-Founder of SCDallas, LLC, and works as an award-winning fight director and action choreographer all over the state.

Carlo is also a Mental Health Certified Intimacy Director and consent educator, having worked in this field since 2017. He’s proud to have been on staff with Intimacy Directors International as the organization's Subscription Coordinator. Carlo completed his Level 3 training with them and moved repeatedly Levels 1 & 2 (Consent Forward Artist) with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. He has also trained with Heartland Intimacy Design, AMHC, and others.

Carlo continues to be a teaching artist and workshop leader in both of these fields. His range of work, directing and performing, has been seen on The History Channel, Hollywood Bowl, House of Blues (Dallas), Winspear Opera House, and many schools, colleges, and theatres.

Carlo is an official Academy Ambassador of Michelle C. Smith's Freestyle Staff (FSS) Academy and has earned his Tracher Certification to Teach the FSS Beginner Level course of this flow art.

He has also been known to fall off galloping horses.
