William is now the artistic director and head of theatre at The University of Northern Iowa as of 2023. He relocated from Pasadena California, where he was the chair of theatre and dance and Pasadena City College. He recently directed Romeo and Juliet, Middletown, Cabaret, Macbeth, She Kills Monsters, Dorkface Rules the World, Dog Sees God, and Metamorphoses at Pasadena City College. He has also choreographed fights for Northern Arizona University, numerous productions at PCC, The Group Rep, The Classical Theatre Lab, Theatricum Botanicum Education, and others. He taught stage combat at PCC, AMDA, Theatricum Botanicum, The Angeles Workshop School, and Star Prep Academy. 

Will graduated with his MFA in acting from UCLA and BFA in acting/directing from the University of Montevallo and lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with his wife and two young children.
